4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number or text us, you may receive SMS messages from Embtel Virtual Assistance. Our messages are conversational and sent on a one-to-one basis by our staff — for example, to reply to a question, confirm a consultation, or provide a status update at your request. We do not send automated bulk or promotional marketing text messages.

  • Consent: By providing your mobile number or texting us, you consent to receive text messages related to your inquiry or service. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.

  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us by phone or email.

Mobile information is never shared for marketing.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support of service delivery is permitted. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.


5. Email Communications

If you provide your email address or contact us by email, we may send you emails, including service messages about your inquiry or account and, where applicable, updates about our services and plans.

  • Unsubscribe: Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using that link or by contacting us. We honor opt-out requests promptly, and in any event within 10 business days.
  • Service emails: Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send non-promotional messages necessary to provide a service you requested, such as confirming a consultation or providing an assistant update.
  • CAN-SPAM compliance: Our marketing emails identify Embtel Solutions, Inc. as the sender and include our valid physical postal address, consistent with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.

  • Within our group: With affiliated entities and delivery teams at our India center that support the operation of our services, subject to this Policy and NDA.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Embtel Solutions, Inc., our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

8. International Data Transfers

Embtel Solutions, Inc. is headquartered in Fremont, California, United States. We operate a supervised delivery center in India. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States, India, or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we take appropriate steps to ensure your information receives adequate protection consistent with applicable law.

Work at our India delivery center is performed on managed systems within a controlled office environment. Access to client data is limited to the assigned assistant and their supervisor.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

14. Confidentiality & NDA

Protecting your business information is a core part of how we operate. All Embtel Virtual Assistance employees and assistants sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA) before being assigned to any client account. This covers:

  • Client business data, strategies, contacts, and proprietary processes
  • Credentials and access details provided to the assistant for task completion
  • Any documents, files, or communications shared during the engagement
Your data stays in our controlled environment.

All work is performed on managed devices within our supervised delivery center. Personal devices, unauthorized USB drives, and external file transfers are prohibited on the floor. Client data is never used for any purpose outside of delivering the services you have requested.

If you require a mutual NDA or additional data processing agreement (DPA) for your engagement, please contact us before your start date and we will accommodate your request.


15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
